The Kearsley Drama Club is officially in session! Radium Girls, the shockingly gripping play written by D.W. Gregory, has been selected as the fall play! The play follows the true story of three women who worked

in watch-painting factories, who, at the time, used radium in their paint. Grace Fryer (Kira McClure), Kathryn Schaub (Eden Fleming), and Irene Rudolph (London Struck-Curtis) fought against the unfair labor conditions they were subjected to.
Xavier Young, who plays the character of Raymond Berry, says, “So far, theater is going great! Everybody is still figuring out their characters, but it’s coming along faster than you’d expect.”
Emma McCormick, who plays the character of MacNeil, says, “It’s been a lot of fun. It’s been coming along really, really nicely. I love the cast and the crew, and we’re all having a good time. I’m super excited to show off all of our hard work to the rest of the community.”

All in all, the play is going great. Radium Girls is set to debut November 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, so mark your calendars! Follow along for more updates!
