Mrs. Barnes has had a profound impact on our school community. Throughout her 25 years at Kearsley, she has been more than just an advisor—she has been a mentor, a friend, and a guiding light for countless students.
From the first day she stepped into Kearsley, her warmth and wisdom became an essential part of our school environment. Whether offering support during difficult times, helping students navigate their futures, or simply lending an ear, Mrs. Barnes has shown unwavering dedication to each and every individual who walked through her door. Her kindness, patience, and encouragement have shaped the lives of so many, ensuring that no student ever felt alone on their journey. Through her leadership and compassion, she has fostered an environment where students felt empowered to dream big and pursue their passions. I, among many others, have always felt that we had someone to go to, someone to lean on, and someone to complain about our schedules to.
Even as Mrs. Barnes steps into this next chapter, her legacy will remain here at Kearsley. The lessons she taught, the encouragement she gave, and the kindness she shared will continue to resonate in the halls and in the hearts of us all. Her impact is immeasurable, and while we are all sad to see her go, we are endlessly grateful for everything she has done.
At the same time, we are excited to welcome Ms. Crowl as she steps into this important role. We know that she will bring her own wisdom, dedication, and compassion to our community. We hope she will continue the legacy that Mrs. Barnes has built while forging her own meaningful connections with students and staff. We look forward to seeing the incredible impact she will make as she becomes an essential part of the Kearsley family.
Thank you, Mrs. Barnes, for everything. We wish you all the best!
