Memories from high school are some of the most important ones to collect. The good memories stick with you forever as we continue to grow. The four years of high school goes by fast and then all you are left with are your memories that you made along the way. High school should be the time where you have no worries and just live life to the fullest. Sharing your favorite memories with others helps you remember them and remember all of the good times you have had during high school.
When Freshman, Mia Granados was asked what her favorite memory is from this year she said, “My favorite memory from this school year was the Homecoming week and the game.” She then was asked why it was her favorite memory and responded, “This is my favorite memory because I liked all the pep rallies and spirit things we did. I was also able to be in the parade, which was really fun. I also liked that Kearsley won the football game.” The Homecoming game always brings a lot of memories for everyone.
When Junior, Sarah Chambers was asked what her favorite memory is from this year she said, “My favorite memory from this year was going to morning swim practices and enjoying those last times with seniors.” Then she was asked why it was her favorite memory, “This was my favorite memory because it just let me see how little time we really have with those people. It makes me realize that in time I’ll be a senior leaving the people I made key relationships with and that’s one thing I want to be able to hold on to when I leave high school.”
After this response she was asked if she is excited for her senior year, “I am feeling very excited to be a senior and to be at the last chain of high school. It makes me sad that it’s gone so fast, but in real words it’s honestly getting annoying. So I’m glad to see that senior year is near!” Becoming a senior is bittersweet as people realize how close the end of their high school career will be.
When Senior, Lyliana Sanson was asked what her favorite memory from her senior year was she responded, “My favorite memory from my senior year was when my soccer team was riding to an away game at Holly High school and I was braiding my teammate Taylor’s hair.” Then she was asked why it was her favorite memory, “It was my favorite memory because I was surrounded by my teammates all laughing and joking. Seeing the smiles on everybody’s faces as the light was shining through the bus and windows was completely peaceful.”
Lastly she was asked if she is excited to graduate, “I am more than excited to graduate, not to say I will not miss some things from high school, but I love thinking about all of the possibilities that my future holds.” All of the seniors are inching closer to graduation and they are feeling bittersweet.
Favorite memories are very important to hold onto as you grow up. Memories from high school are very chaotic and fun, but they are some of the best to remember. Remember to always share your favorite memories and hold onto them.
