On Thursday, September 15, the freshmen volleyball girls played home against Swartz Creek.
Alyssa Limon was playing her first volleyball game. She was in the back row when London Struck-Curtis set the ball and Alyssa spiked the ball over the net.
“I felt really proud of myself. I was also really scared that I would not get the ball over,” Limon remarked.

London Struck-Curtis stated that she felt the team was good at working together.
“I feel like we were actually working as a team,” Struck-Curtis exclaimed.

Coach Molly Gunn claimed the team is playing well and getting better.
“I thought the team played very well on Thursday. They are getting to know the game better each day and I am very proud of them. We still need to continue working and perfecting our game, but that will come with time,” Gunn commented.
The girls are excited for the future and are now working hard for their next game against Fenton.
