This week on Thursday, April 21, the Hornets faced off against the Swartz Creek Dragons in a brutal defeat.

The Hornets played at Kearsley, where they struggled to slay the Dragons.

The Hornets lost 8-22 after losing hope early in the game.

Senior Kursten Bennet thinks that the Hornets can improve on their morale for late game play.

“When one person makes an error the whole team starts to get frustrated and we give up. I think we need to stay up the whole game and keep the energy high” Bennet said.

Even though the Hornets were getting beat out of the game their catcher freshman Jasmine Wiswell still had an amazing game and fought through to the end.
