The Kearsley boys tennis team huddling up before starting their matches.

On Tuesday, Sept. 28, the Hornets faced off against the Owosso Trojans. The Hornets stung the Trojans, in a 6-2 win.

In singles three, senior Brendan Wilson won his match 7-5, 6-3.

The singles four spot was won by the Hornets due to a forfeit.

For doubles it was a clean sweep, seniors Jacob Callahan, Tommy Taylor, Caden Palmer, Brodie Dustin, Josh Kendrick, Kailer Young, and juniors Patrick Zamora and Caden Boychuck, all won their matches.

At doubles one, Callahan and Taylor won their match 6-4, 6-3.

For doubles, two Palmer and Boychuck won in a landslide of 6-0, 6-1.

For doubles three, Dustin and Kendrick dominated 6-3, 6-2.

For doubles four Young and Zamora won 6-0, 6-4.

The varsity tennis team is looking forward to metros this Thursday.
