Future problem solvers tackle tomorrow’s challenges today
The Future Problem Solving club began this year with an informational meeting Nov. 14.
The group meets every Friday in the second-floor conference room of the administration building at 2:30 p.m.
Topics the club will deal with this year include processed foods, propaganda, and enhancing human potential.
Last year, a team from the group won third place at the state level, ending the season as international finalists.
Ben Roof, senior, was a member of the award-winning team.
“We hope to have another good run at the state competition this year and, hopefully, have another team go to internationals,” Roof said.
The team welcomes anyone to attend the meetings.
“We’d be happy to have anyone who is interested show up to see what it’s about,” Roof said.
