Boys basketball fell to Clio 73-35 in a Metro League game Tuesday, Jan. 14.

The Hornets started off on the wrong foot, only scoring four points to Clio’s 24.

The first quarter ended with Clio up 40-20.

The second quarter was the Hornets’ highest scoring as they put 16 on the board.

After the half, the Hornets were unable to score more than 10 points per quarter.

The Hornets are now 1-6 overall and 0-6 in the Metro League.

Owosso is the only team with more losses than Kearsley.

The Hornets will take the court at Holly Friday, Jan. 17.
