Mrs. Diane Wagoner, Power of 100 adviser, is in charge of the “Save the Soaps” donation program.

Mrs. Diane Wagoner, Power of 100 adviser, is orchestrating a “Save the Soaps” donation program for people in need around the community.

All donations will go to the Kearsley Closet and the Christian Outreach.

The Kearsley Closet is located at Pumpkin Patch; it provides clothes for families in need around the committee.

The Christian Outreach is an organization made up of volunteers from the Flushing area hoping to attend to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of people in the community.

However, donations are not limited to bars of soap. Donations of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and coffee packs are also welcomed.

To support the program, drop off all donations to Room 401.

“It’s a big need that I know I can help fulfill,” Wagoner said. “There is nothing like feeling clean.”
