To the ones who told me I’d never make it to high school, let alone graduation — I’ve made it.
I can’t lie though, senior year is bittersweet.
It’s hard to imagine that this is my last year of high school, and here I am getting ready to attend UM-Flint in the fall — something no one thought would happen.
I’ve grown up from the girl who believed she’d never reach her 18th birthday, and I’ve exceeded many expectations — but I’m not done yet.
For now, this is my goodbye, but I promise it won’t be forever.
