My sixth weather day becomes a movie day, music day

Our sixth snow day turns into a movie day for me.
Monday, Feb. 23
I woke up unusually early, 5 a.m., to check to see if we had school. When I didn’t see Kearsley listed on ABC 12 I was a little discouraged, but not for long.
After seeing the good news on Twitter and then checking for myself, I went back to sleep and didn’t wake up until 9;30 a.m., which is pretty late for me.
For breakfast I had some lemon, poppy-seed muffins that tasted delicious.
Afterward, I decided to make a movie day out of the unexpected day off. I watched “Shrek 2,” “Divergent,” and “Mean Girls.”
My taste in movies was a little eclectic, but all three are great movies and some of my favorites, as well.
I also had some hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. It was both yummy and warming.

I imported CDs into my iTunes library.
Later on, I imported some songs into my iTunes library from various CDs. I then went on to burn some CDs from my favorite playlists.
Finally, I watched the return of “The Voice.” I just love to watch the blind auditions to see if the coaches turn and whether they are surprised by how the person looks.
I had an easy, relaxed day off from school.
But I am excited to go back to school after such a long time being out.
