Senior Mallory Teed won her first singles match in her career against Flint.

The tennis team defeated the Flint Jaguars 8-0 at home Friday, April 20.

Senior Mallory Teed and sophomore Shelby Cranmer won the first singles matches in their careers.

Teed won as the No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0. Cranmer, at No. 4 singles, also won 6-0, 6-0.

The match went just as well for the rest of the singles players.

Junior Stephanie Lane won her match 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.

Senior Brooke Mannor, No. 2 singles, also won. Her match was 6-0, 6-1.

The No. 1 doubles team of juniors Emily Jones and Kiah Watters won their match against Flint 6-0, 6-0.

The rest of the doubles flights won due to forfeit since Flint did field doubles teams.
