Mr. Gazzy Garcia, better known as the rapper Lil Pump, had an increasing interest in Kearsley High School.

Many rumors of cockroaches and bed bugs at KHS floated around social media this winter.

When Lil Pump saw this, he was blown away and felt as though it was his responsibility to immediately take care of the problem.

As a means of taking action, Lil Pump visited KHS Thursday, March 29, and generously donated $50,000 to the school.

Lil Pump said that he is “so excited” and can’t wait for the principal to cash his large check.

“ESKETIT,” Lil Pump said, showing that he is full of enthusiasm to be bettering KHS.

After Lil Pump walked through the halls of KHS, he decided another change needed to be made.

As a condition of using the $50,000 he donated, he asked that a hot tub be put in the school to reduce the amount of stress that students experience.

Due to the architecture and plumbing of the school, the only place convenient to fit the hot tub will be in Mr. Chris Torok’s classroom.

Torok, who teaches math, feels honored that his room was the one chosen to house the hot tub.

“I will never teach a math lesson without my swim trunks on again,” Torok said.

Senior Samantha Roberts met with Lil Pump during the visit and heard the changes that he was planning on making.

“I can’t wait to see the improvements he is going to make to our school,” Roberts said. “His donations are so generous and truly a reflection of his caring personality.”

Although it may seem like Lil Pump is the same as any other self-absorbed rapper, he truly is compassionate and cares about the well-being of KHS students.
