Girls’ bowlers strike their way to another win
On Jan. 24 the girls’ bowling team faced off against the Holly Bronchos.
The Hornets won the match 30-0 with Junior Alexxa Flood leading the team with a 419 series.
In the first baker game, the Hornets won rolling a 141 game to the Bronchos 109 game.
The second baker game allowed the Hornets to secure an early lead by rolling a 238 game compared to Holly’s 74 game.
The Hornets were up 10-0 going into the first individual game.
The first individual game was no challenge for the Hornets as they shot a 961 series, taking all nine points, securing the match.
Junior Aleexa Flood led the team with a 224 game.
In the second individual game, the Hornets bowled a 1,040, taking the rest of the points possible in the match.
Junior Hannah Ploof led the team in the second game, rolling a 213.
The Hornets shot a 2,380 series between the individual games and the bakers.
