Girls basketball wins big against Creek

The girls basketball team beat Swartz Creek on the road 71-52, during a makeup game Monday, Feb. 12.

The key scorer was junior Mackenzie Ramey with 22 points.

Ramey thinks that the offensive and defensive moves played a part in the win.

“I think I did really good. I executed on the offense by scoring 22 points,” Ramey said.”The defense was also a contributor to the great win againstĀ  Swartz Creek.”

In addition, freshman Seniaa Walker and sophomore Jakeira Wash each had 14 points.

The team has improved 12-4 overall, 10-3 in the league.

The Hornets next game is home where they will host Brandon on Tuesday, Feb 13.
