Girls basketball stings the Eagles
Junior Zaria Mitchner helped the girls basketball team power past Linden 62-32 on Tuesday, Dec. 9, on its home court.
The key scorers were Mitchner with 18 points and junior Mackenzie Ramey with 11 points.
Mitchner said the win was due to her entire team giving it their all.
“This game was an easy win, but it was all because we played like a team and everyone did what they needed to do,” Mitchner said.
With this win, they have improved to 5-4 overall, 3-2 in the Metro League.
The Hornets will host their next game against Owosso on Friday, Jan. 12. Tipoff is 6 pm.
