Fenton squeaks past girls basketball
The girls basketball team went head-to-head on their home court Friday, Dec. 15.
The Hornets fell to Fenton by only one point, 65-64.
The lead scorer was junior Jakeira Wash with 18 points.
Junior Zaria Mitchner and freshman Saniaa Walker both had a total of 15 points.
Kearsley is now 2-3 overall.
Sophomore Kamryn Palka is proud of her team.
“I’m glad we worked really hard to accomplish our goals and be better on our defense than we were last time,” Palka said.
Kearsley is 2-3 overall, 0-2 in the league.
The team’s next game is home facing Holly on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
