Flushing beats girls basketball team
The girls basketball team went head-to-head with Flushing on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
Flushing won 59-44, putting Kearsley 2-2 overall, 0-1 in the Metro league.
The key scorers were junior Mackenzie Ramey, sophomore Sydney Walker, and junior Alexis Echols.
Echols thinks the team did well but noted that there is room for improvement.
“I think we played well,” Echols said. “We just didn’t transition well on our defense, but it is an easy fix.”
The team’s next game is Friday, Dec. 15, at Fenton. Tipoff is at 6 p.m.
