Senior Richard Jackson is a key returner for the swim team this season.

The swim team starts its season Monday, Nov. 20.

The Hornets are ready to start the 2017-2018 season strong and are striving to beat the records left behind last year.

Senior Richard Jackson is a key returner for this swim season.

He believes the season will go well and that Kearsley could win. Jackson and the team are excited for the season to start.

“The team will do alright. Might win some meets,” Jackson said. “I’ve been looking forward to this season.”

The Hornets anticipate that they will do really well in the freestyle, the backstroke, and the 200-yard I.M. relay.

The 400 I.M. relay, the butterfly, and the 500 I.M. will be the team’s biggest weaknesses.

Jackson believes the team will need to work hard, but they will do well.

“We have to work on endurance,” Jackson said. “We have a lot of new-coming swimmers that need a lot of work.”
