Basketball teams fall to Flushing
Boys
The Hornets’ basketball team lost to Flushing 32-49 on Dec.18.
At halftime Kearsley (2-2, 1-2) was up 11 points, but struggled in the third quarter and lost the lead.
Girls
Kearsley traveled to Flushing to play the Raiders on Dec. 18, losing 10-51.
Flushing took a quick lead, scoring 15 points in the first quarter alone.
Junior Diane Bond was the top scorer for the Hornets (2-4, 0-3) with four points.
Sophomore Rachel Tolley scored three points, while junior Michaella Ford added two.
