Hornets Nest will host Black Tuesday sale
Kearlsey High School’s student store, Hornets Nest, is hosting a Black Tuesday in on honor of Black Friday.
This event on Tuesday, Nov. 22, will be managed by teacher Mrs. Kim Guest and retail students during lunches.
The Black Tuesday sale will open at the beginning of first lunch and will continue through the rest of the lunches.
For those who do not attend KHS, the times you can come get your KHS apparel are listed below:
First lunch- 10:37 – 11:05 a.m.
Second lunch- 11:10 – 11:35 a.m.
Third lunch- 11:38 a.m. – 12:05 p.m.
All apparel is made by K-Town Tees, a student-run company where students design, print, and sell products.
The Black Tuesday sale will have a variety of products for sale aside from apparel.
There will be a 30 percent discount on selected apparel and spirit items.
The Hornets Nest will also be having a combo deal, popcorn and a slushy for $1.50.
A portion of the proceeds will go toward the cost of travel for DECA students.
The proceeds help pay for state and international conferences.
Senior Alexis Kelly, manager of K-Town Tees, is excited to have the KHS body in her designs.
“I look forward to seeing all my designs worn on KHS students,” Kelly said.
