Competitive cheer season is back.  Tryouts for this season will begin Monday, Nov. 7.

To prepare,  the clinic starts at 2:30 p.m. in the sports deck and runs until 4 p.m.

Tryouts begin at 4 p.m.

There is no experience needed for the JV team.

To be able to attend,  you must have a physical on file dated after April 15, 2016.

Junior Madi Jordan, who has been on varsity for the past three years, encourages all to try out.

“Everyone gets along and it’s like a family,” Jordan said. ” Competitions are really rewarding.”

Junior Makayla Shattuck, who has been on varsity two years, wants to motivate more girls to try out.

” Competitive cheer is so fun and you are always meeting new people that you end up remembering for a lifetime, ” Shattuck said.
