Power of 100 to hold self-defense class
The Power of 100 will hold a self-defense class Dec. 18 at 2:30-3:30 in the high school cafeteria.
The class is about basic self-defense and learning how to not be abducted. The instructor will be Sensei Le Willetts.
Mrs. Diane Wagoner, Power of 100 adviser, wants boys and girls to attend the class.
“Everyone should know how to protect themselves no matter what age or gender,” Wagoner said. “You have the right to be safe where you are.”
The class is free, but a permission slip is needed in order to attend. Permission slips are available in Room 401.
People that wish to attend the class must sign up soon.
“There are only 50 spaces left,” Wagoner said.
