The Class of 2016 should make memories this summer

Karmen Bishoff

After graduation, several of us will be confused and not really sure what to do with our lives.

We have become so accustomed to waking up and going to school everyday.

But now that school has come to an end, we do not have to sit at home and be lazy all day.

There are several tips to make our last summer before college fun and entertaining.

Hang out with friends you aren’t going to college with

Before we go our separate ways, we must cherish our last moments together.

Summer is going to go by fast, and before we know it, we will not be able to call up our friends and ask them to hang out with us. It will not be easy to stay in touch with our friends with our new busy schedules.

None of us want to leave for college with regrets, so spend as much time with friends as you can.

Don’t spend every day at home

Granted, finally being able to sleep in everyday will be nice, but we shouldn’t sleep our last summer before college away.

It is important that we go out and make some of our last memories. We have a lot to look forward to as we take the next step in our lives, but these are the times we will remember forever.

Spend time outside

Going to the beach, park, ice cream parlor, and even our backyards, are all fun things that are inexpensive during summer.

Going out and making memories is important, as it will be our last summer spent before we move on to the next chapter in our lives.

Spend some with friends and take some time to enjoy the beautiful weather outside.

We are the Class of 2016, and it is our job to make this last summer the best summer yet.
