Five lazy things girls can do on the weekend
We have all suffered through those boring weekends that seem to just drag on.
Granted, we usually do not want the weekend to end, but our weekends should be put to good use.
There are a lot of fun things us girls can do, that requires minimal effort, so our bodies can recover from a busy week, but will also make the weekend less boring.
Donuts
Grab your gal-pals and go splurge on some delicious treats from B & J’s Donuts.
You are probably wondering how this will make your weekend more fun, but the answer is simple.
Popping in an old movie, in comfy pajamas, and enjoying a yummy doughnut with some good friends is a perfect way to kick start your fun weekend of relaxation.
Spa Day
Break out the bubbles ladies.
Taking a bath, painting your nails, and plucking those crazy brows, are all ways to pamper yourself.
With the final weeks of the school year becoming extremely hectic, we have very little time to take care of our bodies throughout the week. Taking a day to make up for all the days you skipped shaving your legs and giving your body the full attention it deserves is perfect for us girls.
Netflix Marathon
Whether you choose to lock yourself in your room and cover the windows and watch 13 seasons of a series on Netflix, or pop some popcorn and call up some friends to watch some old movies with, it is perfectly normal to spoil ourselves with a day filled with laziness.
Our bodies deserve a nice, long break sometimes. Do not fear junk food while binge watching several series every now and again.
Being a girl can be difficult, so enjoy the limited amount of responsibilities we have now and be as lazy as you want.
Clean out your social media
We always see posts from that one person, and we have no idea who they are.
Going through Facebook and Instagram, and deleting or unfollowing people you do not know, is something you can do quickly and easily.
There is no need to worry about offending someone you do not know by deleting them. Chances are they do not know you either.
Sleep
This is an obvious way to spend any weekend.
Changing the sheets on your bed to some crisp, clean, freshly washed ones, playing some relaxing music, and closing the blinds in your room will help your body recover from a hectic week. It will be some of the best sleep you have gotten in awhile.
Take a break and relax.
Whether you choose to hang with friends, or just stay in bed, just remember your body always deserves a break, so be lazy.
