Girls’ bowling comes in second at tournament, remains undefeated in league
Girls’ bowling kept busy during the weekends before and after exam week.
The team competed in the Mel Wolf Invitational on Sunday, Jan. 24.
The Hornets came in second with a final score of 2,596.
Jackson hosted the invitational and came in first with a pinfall of 2,664.
Then, on Saturday, Jan. 30, the girls beat Holly 25-5.
The top bowlers of the day were seniors Hannah Ploof, with scores of 279 and 232, and Alexxa Flood, with games of 238 and 213 .
The team’s next event will be Saturday, Feb. 6 at Holly Lanes against Clio.
