Lip-sync contestants can sign up now
Students can sign up for the lip-sync competition from now until Tuesday, Nov. 24.
Mr. Brian Clark, business teacher, encourages as many students as possible to sign up for the lip-sync competition.
The competition was cancelled last year due to lack of participation.
Clark hopes many students will be get involved this year.
“Students need to be able to commit to participating if they sign up to perform,” Clark said.
Students can sign up for the competition in Clark’s room, Room 203.
Contestants can be solo acts or groups of two or more.
Sign up does require a $10 deposit and the title of that group’s song. The deposit is to ensure that acts will commit to coming to the rehearsal and the performance.
The deposit will be returned to students if they attend both the rehearsal and performance.
The rehearsal is Monday, Dec 7, right after school in the auditorium.
The actual performance is the evening of Monday, Dec. 14, in the auditorium.
There are prizes for those who place first, second, and third.
