Volleyball loses annual dig pink match to LakeVille
The volleyball team lost its annual dig pink match 3-0 against LakeVille on Thursday, Oct. 23.
Both teams honored the individuals that had been touched by the disease.
The Hornets lost all three matches: 25-18, 25-21, 25-23.
Leading the Hornets was junior Kayla Meyer.
Meyer had 17 digs and two blocks. She also had four kills and 13 assists.
Junior Chloe Jankowski served two aces and recorded 32 digs.
Seniors Karmen Bishoff, Hannah Ploof, and Emalie Lewis chipped in with one block apiece.
Bishoff also had five digs, Ploof had two digs, four kills, and one assist, while Lewis had seven digs and 10 kills.
Senior Michaella Ford pitched in four digs, three blocks and two kills.
Junior Sidney Wager recorded six digs and six assists.
The team’s next match is at Brandon on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
