Soccer team stopped by Swartz Creek
Swartz Creek defeated the soccer team 6-1 on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
The game was deadlocked until the 16th minute when the Dragons found the back of the net.
Kearsley responded quickly, though, with junior Zach Elizondo scoring on a long pass from senior Brevin Dias.
The Hornets were unable to keep up for the rest of the match, with Swartz Creek scoring twice more in the first half and three additional goals in the second half.
The Hornets are now without a win in five Metro League games, 3-6-1 overall.
Their next game is Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Brandon.
