The volleyball team dropped its match against Holly 3-1 on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

The Hornets won their first game 25-22, but Holly won the next three games: 25-17, 25-9, 25-19.

Junior Kayla Meyer led the Hornets.

Meyer recorded three kills and four aces in addition to six assists, 17 digs, and three blocks.

Senior Hannah Ploof pitched in with four kills, one assist, and three blocks.

Senior Michaella Ford helped with one kill, one ace, four blocks, and one dig.

Junior Chloe Jankowski recorded 26 digs.

Senior Emaile Lewis and junior Loren Jolin aided the Hornets with nine digs each.

The team’s next match will be home against Fenton on Tuesday, Sept.29.
