Homecoming is quickly approaching and so are the festivities, including spirit week.

Spirit week will feature five different clothing themes for all grades to participate in.

The first day, Monday, Oct. 5, the theme is movie or music day. Students are encouraged to dress up as their favorite actor or musician.

The next day is clash day. On this day, students wear mismatched outfits and random pieces of clothing.

On Wednesday, Oct.7, Hawaiian outfits are to be worn. Hula skirts, flowered shirts, and tropical clothing are all fit to wear for this theme.

The next theme will be to dress nerdy on Thursday, Oct. 8.

For the final day on Friday, Oct. 9, students are urged to wear blue and gold in support of the homecoming game occurring that night.

Many students, including junior Alayna Haack, are looking forward to spirit week.

“I think it is a lot of fun dressing up for spirit week,” Haack said. “It is also pretty cool seeing everyone else dressed up.”
