Mr. Brian Clark attempted to hold a lip-sync competition. Due to lack of participation, however, it had to be cancelled.

Lip-sync competitions are all about finding a song, learning the words, and then creating a dance to go with it.

Mr. Brian Clark, business teacher, thought it was a good idea to start such a competition, but due to lack of student participation it had to be cancelled. Clark was upset by the low amount of students signed up.

“Students are not able to commit,”  Clark said.

Sixteen students signed up, but only two showed up for the rehearsal for the competition.

The prize for the lip-sync competition would have been up to $100, depending on the amount of tickets sold.

This would have been the first lip-sync competition in 12 years.

“I just couldn’t believe it,” Clark said. “Kids made a lot of excuses when it was time to get started.”
