Soccer loses district match to Clio

The soccer team lost its last its state district tournament match to Clio 2-0 on May 26.
In the first half, both teams were evenly matched.
Senior Sydney Owens, said, “I feel like in the first half we played our game.”
In the second half, the Hornets lost their momentum, letting Clio score two goals.
“We didn’t play as strong as we could have,” Owens said.
Though the Hornets did not win, Owens is thankful for her teammates.
“I love my teammates and I’m going to miss them,” Owens said. “But, overall, it was a good year.”
