Yellow flowers to represent the coming summer

Farewell Kearsley High School

My Kearsley experience was pretty uneventful as far as things go. I have not had the experience of going here my entire life like some of my peers.

I am a former student of Genesee County Catholic Schools and was really sheltered for a good chunk of my life.

I came to Kearsley halfway through my freshman year in early 2019. I came to this school pretty much blind and without many friends. I made some friends here and there, but still really ended up drifting through high school in a way that really made me regret it.

I do want to say thank you to a lot of the people who got me through senior year and high school in general.

The retired Mrs. Kotzian, former choir teacher, was a mentor figure to me and she always kept me interested in the arts.

Mrs. Nusbaum, who I worked with at another job at JCPenney, she really helped me stay motivated at school and got me through a rough case of senioritis.

If there was one class I was going to miss it would probably be Journalism, I dropped the ball on a lot of stories this year, but I still enjoyed every minute of this class.

All in all, my high school experience was pretty rough, but I would not trade it for the world. Farewell Kearsley.
