Locke & Key Unlocks Interest In Viewers

Netflix released the second season of the thriller series ‘Locke & Key’ on Oct. 22, 2021.

This show first premiered on Netflix on Feb. 7, 2020.

This show is about three Locke siblings and their mother who move into their ancestral home, Key House, which they discover is full of magical keys that do more than lead them to places and unlock doors.

Their lives are not only disrupted by the magical powers of the keys, but the antagonist who wants the keys, or really just one of them.

The shows cast of season 2 stars Kinsey Locke (Emilia Jones), Tyler Locke (Connor Jessup), Dodge (Laysla De Oliveria Laysla De Oliveria), Lucas (Felix Mallard), Bode Locke (Jackson Robert Scott), and Gabe (Griffin Gluck).

The antagonist appeared to have been defeated at the end of the first season, but things at Key House are rarely what they seem.

At the beginning of season 2, everyone thinks Dodge has been defeated, but as the twist at the end of the first season discloses, it is actually in a different body.

Thanks to one of those pleasant keys.

In the first season, Dodge was primarily depicted as a petrified woman (Laysla De Oliveira) but also from time to time took on the role of an unassuming high school boy named Gabe (Griffin Gluck), who also happens to be Kinsey’s boyfriend.

While everyone thinks Dodge is gone, “Gabe” is hatching a plan to manufacture an army of demons.

Season 3 of Locke and Key has already started production, and based on the way the most recent season ends, there’s going to be yet another major antagonist introduced to the show.

Hopefully, it brings some secrets along for the ride.
