As the joyous month of December arrives, with it comes Christmas activities for friends and families to enjoy.
Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad will host their annual “Christmas at Crossroads: Holiday Magic” every weekend throughout the month of December.
The event will include dressed-up villagers, live entertainment, craft demonstrations, holiday music, and visits with Santa Claus from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day.
Admission prices vary with age.
Adult admission is $12 for attendees 13 to 59 years old. Senior admission is $11 for those 60 and older while child admission is $10 for ages 25 months to 12 years old.
To ride the Huckleberry Railroad train, tickets cost an additional $6.
Sophomore Aizya Sorensen went to the event. She enjoyed the festive environment with her friends.
“It was honestly the most fun I had in a while,” Sorensen said. “I loved how happy and exciting the place all seemed. It was like a winter wonderland.”
Sorensen and her friends enjoyed spending time at Crossroads and plan to visit more often.
“I had so much fun with all my friends and even some new people that I met,” Sorensen said.
Junior Mason Taber believes the decorations looked straight out of the movies.
“It’s practically magical,” Taber said. “They have lights set up and there’s good entertainment. It indeed looks like a winter wonderland.”
