Tennis starts year with senior experience
Seniors are looking to lead the girls tennis team to victory this year.
Coach Cory Fisher said the top returners of this year are seniors Stephanie Lane, Chloe Clarambeau, Claudia Moore, Brooklynn Smith, Mickeely Dias, Emily Jones, Ariel Desjardins, and Ellena Dye.
Dias is looking forward to her final season.
“I’m super excited,” Dias said. “Since last year was a milestone season, and we have most of the girls from last year, it should be a great season.”
As the first match is approaching, Clarambeau is feeling excited about the new season.
“I’m very excited. There’s a lot of girls who are planning to come out. It will definitely be a fun season,” Clarambeau said. “I’m excited for one more year with my friends and the coaches before I graduate.”
Fisher is happy with the team this season.
“I’m feeling very positive about this season,” Fisher said. “We have a lot of experience and good attitudes.”
