Girls basketball stings Blackhawks
On Wednesday, Feb. 13, the girls basketball team beat Brandon with ease, 67-27.
The Hornets took control in the first quarter and held the lead through the entire game.
Kearsley was led by senior Mackenzie Ramey with 12 points.
Junior Jakiera Wash also chipped in with 10 points.
Wash is proud of the way the team played.
“The running of our offense and defense was really good,” Wash said. “Working as a team was definitely a highlight of our night.”
Kearsley is 12-2 in the league and 13-3 overall.
The Hornets will be back on the court against Owosso on Friday, Feb. 15, at home. Kearsley will be honoring the team’s seniors.
