Hornets kick off winter sports

As cold weather sets in, Kearsley athletes will begin their winter seasons.
Boys and girls basketball, boys and girls bowling, wrestling, swimming and diving, and competitive cheer will all begin preparing for their meets, competitions, and games.
With new coaching staff and new players, teams will compete to win the Metro League title for their respective sport.
Under the direction of newly hired Athletics Director Eric Doyle, the Hornets will strive for athletic excellence while representing The Hive.

Blitz for six begins for girls bowling team
The girls bowling team is preparing for another year of defending a state title. This isn't the Hornets' first state title defense. They are working to defend their sixth title, calling it the "blitz for six." Kearsley has won five straight state championships for girls bowling. The boys bowling team is back and ready to defend its league title. Last season, the Hornets won the Metro League championship with a record of 14-2.
