The Eclipse welcomes a new year of writing
As students settle into the 2018-19 school year, The Eclipse is ready to report.
Starting off this year, the staff has only six returning students — what The Eclipse refers to as veterans. That means we are welcoming 18 new writers to our class, whom we refer to as rookies.
As our rookies learn the in and outs of style, the veterans will be our only students writing for about a month.
Due to our small team of writers, starting Tuesday, Sept. 25, The Eclipse will be publishing stories every Tuesday and Thursday.
But KHS celebrates homecoming week Monday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 5. The Eclipse will be publishing other days besides Tuesday and Thursday during homecoming week to document the school’s exciting activities and celebrations.
After homecoming week, we will return to publishing on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We are eager to start publishing, and hope our readers are excited to read some great stories.
Yours truly,
The Eclipse staff
