The Eclipse staff says goodbye until the 2018-19 school year.

We started the year as a class of 21 students eager to learn the inner-workings of journalism. Some of us were new — what our class refers to as rookies — and some of us were returning from previous years — what our class refers to as veterans.

This year’s staff achieved great things: earning five SNO badges, publishing many well-developed stories throughout the year, and coming together to bring our audience great stories to read.

As the year comes to an end we are left with a staff of eight journalists — due to the graduates.

After a long year of hard work, great ideas, and fun memories, we are all ready to relax and enjoy the summer.

As of June 13, The Eclipse will be taking a break for the summer and will not be publishing stories until the next school year.

Thank you all for being avid readers of our news site. We hope you all enjoy your summer!

Yours truly,

The Eclipse staff
