Baseball falls to Powers, Linden

The baseball team dropped both doubleheaders against Powers Catholic on Wednesday, May 2, and the Linden Eagles on Monday, April 30.

Powers

Kearsley lost both games in its doubleheader at home against the Chargers.

The Hornets dropped the first game 11-2.

The team was led by sophomore Kody Easton and junior Kyle Langworthy, both having two hits apiece.

Kearsley fell in the second game 10-4.

The Hornets were led by sophomore Joe Brulla, knocking in two runs.

Linden

The Hornets were swept by Linden at home, losing the first game 20-1.

Junior Max Stimac had two hits during the first game, leading the Hornets.

Kearsley was close to making a comeback during the second game, falling short 9-5.

Freshman Bailey Palmer and sophomore Ethan Livingston had multiple hits.

Easton pitched a strong game, striking out eight players,
