Boys bowling takes down the Trojans

The boys bowling team defeated Owosso on Monday, Dec. 4, at the Holly Lanes.

The Hornets started off playing strongly against the Trojans, but ended up losing the first Baker game 200-184.

Leading the Hornets in the first game was senior Seth Varner, bowling a 221. Following him was senior Chase Gebhardt scoring a 213.

But once the second Baker game started, the boys bounced back scoring a win against Owosso 213-182.

Taking lead in the second game was senior Chase Gebhardt with a 215 game.

He was also assisted by Junior Kyle Langworthy, who scored a 204, and senior Seth Varner shooting a 201.

In the beginning of the match, the Hornets struggled to find consistency. But once the second game began they were back on fire, rolling eight out of 10 strikes in the last few frames.
