The girls bowling team beat the Owosso Trojans on Monday, Dec. 4 in their first match with Owosso after joining the Metro League.

The girls bowling team had its 90th straight Metro League victory against Owosso on Monday, Dec. 4.

The 25-5 win took place at the Holly Lanes for the league match.

The Hornets were led by sophomore Samantha Timm with games of 190 and 235.

This was the first time Kearsley has competed against Owosso in the Metro League since the Trojans joined the league this year.

The Hornets started with two Baker game victories, 182-123 and 175-123, giving them a 10-0 lead going into the individual games.

Kearsley won two individual points in the final game, allowing them to win the match.

The Hornets are now 2-0 in league play. Their next matches are Saturday, Dec. 9, against Fenton and Holly at Cherry Hill Lanes.
