The girls bowling team also finished fifth at the L’Anse Creuse Singles Tournament with Hawes and Roof making the All-Tournament team.

The tournament took place at the Imperial Lanes in Clinton Township on Sunday, Dec. 3.

Roof was later eliminated by a player from Warren Cousino in the first round of match play.

Griffin and Hawes reached the final 16, but Griffin lost a close match to a player from Sterling Heights Stevenson.

The team’s next match will be a Metro League contest against Owosso on Monday, Dec. 4.
