Please follow the unspoken rules of walking the 400 Hall

Let’s face it, the 400 Hallway is definitely a pain to walk through as it connects so many different parts of the school.

Here are some unspoken rules that everyone should follow to make sure it is as efficient as possible and everyone can get to class on time.

Do not text on your phone and walk

When you text on your phone and walk you end up walking incredibly slowly, backing up the whole hallway. Your phone isn’t going anywhere, so please don’t waste someone else’s time.

Avoid standing in groups talking

Standing in clusters on the side of the hallway or in the entrance to the bathroom is a no-no. There are people who need to get into their lockers or simply need to get down the hall. If you need to meet up with your squad, move it to the Hall of Fame, where there is plenty of room.

Do not walk slowly

Don’t be the reason the 400 Hall is backed up because you’re walking slowly. Keep the same pace up and don’t keep large gaps between you and the people in front of you. Be consistent and efficient.

Walk on the right side of the hallway

Walking down the proper side of the hallway is like driving on the right side of the road. Don’t be the cause of a traffic jam.

Since the 400 Hallway is the main hallway of the school, we can all do our part to ensure it’s as efficient as it can be. By following these rules, you can reduce the tardiness for you and the rest of the students at KHS.
