United hockey beat Union High School 9-1 as Lake Fenton’s Alec Copeland scored a hat trick in the victory in its home game Saturday, Dec. 3.

Besides Copeland, a junior, seven other United players lit the lamp: Holly senior Luke Harrington, Kearsley sophomore Landon Kash, Brandon freshman Noah Bolton, and juniors Aidan Flick and Drew Hobson form Lake Fenton, as well as A.J. Incammicia from Holly.

Kearsley’s Trevor Keller, sophomore, and Lake Fenton’s Alex Boros, senior, each had an assist as well.

United, a team made up of players from Kearsley, Brandon, Holly, and Lake Fenton, led 4-0 in the first period and let in Union High School’s only goal in the second.

United’s record improved to 2-1-1 for the season.

Lake Fenton’s Aidan Flick is the team’s leading scorer.

United’s next game is Saturday, Dec. 10.
