For girls, leaving the house in the morning can be a hassle. To make heading to school easier in the morning here are a few things that should be kept in your locker just for safekeeping.

1. Hairbrush and hair ties

Ladies, how many times have you left the house and realized that you don’t have a hair tie? Or your hair tie breaks in the middle of the day and your hair is complete frizz? If you keep a handful of ties in your locker, it will ensure that you will always have a solution for messy hair.

2. Lotion

Winter is now in full swing and dry skin is nearly unavoidable. By keeping a bottle of lotion in your locker, you can make sure your skin will stay moisturized.

3. Deodorant

Mornings are crazy, and every once in awhile you might forget to put on deodorant. Keep a deodorant stick in your locker, even if it has to be travel size. Just apply when needed and you are good to go.

4. Perfume

We all need one part of the day to take a breather and refresh. Balance your day out and spray as needed. You always want to be able to feel your best just to ensure you have a great day.

5. Feminine hygiene products

It’s an awful thing to not have feminine hygiene products when you need them. Having a back up in your locker would be a relief to you. I promise.

6. Extra clothes

The worst thing about coming to school is sitting in class and wanting to go home because you are uncomfortable. I personally feel like this a lot.  My solution is to put an extra sweatshirt and sweatpants in your locker so when you feel uncomfortable you have a comfy change of clothes waiting for you.

7.  Planner

School can be stressful, and many of you can probably relate to that. An easy way to ensure that all assignments are done and turned in on time is to get a planner. Getting yourself a planner to write out all assignments and their due dates will serve as a helpful tool to keep you on track.

8. Hand sanitizer

Cold and flu season is back in full force. Keep a bottle of hand sanitizer to quickly wash your hands before each class. It will help prevent you from getting sick. Plus who wouldn’t want to have clean hands?

9. Snacks and water

We all have those days that lunch can never come fast enough because you are dying to eat or drink . I suggest you keep a handful of granola bars or fruit snacks with a water bottle so you can have a quick power up.

10. Gum or mints

Having bad breath is everyone’s worst nightmare. If you keep a pack of gum and maybe a tin of mints in your locker, bad breath will never be an issue.

If you follow the 10 tips I have suggested, you will be prepared for even the worst days. That makes leaving the house in the morning a breeze.
