Queen’s court represented by a brilliant group of seniors

The 2016 queen’s court consists of six girls this year.
The court includes Hailey Baltosser, Loren Jolin, Chloe Jankowski, Brandi Morgan, and Madilyn Valentine.
All six have the chance to be crowned queen Friday, Oct. 7, at halftime of the football game.
Hailey Baltosser
Balltosser is 17 years old and lives with her parents Mr. and Mrs. David and Joanne Baltosser.
She has two younger siblings, Rodney, a freshman at KHS, and a sister Isabella Baltosser.
Baltosser has always had a love for cheer. She has been cheering on varsity for four years.
Cheer is not the only sport she has participated in. Baltosser also played tennis for one year.
“I wanted to try something new,” Baltosser said.
Cheer takes up a lot of Baltosser’s time, but when she’s not cheering she likes to volunteer and give back to the community.
She also is a runner. She loves to run in her spare time, as well as read.
Baltosser plans to attend Grand Valley State University next fall where she will purse a career in nursing.
She is appreciative for the opportunity of being on court.
“I am extremely grateful and honored that my class voted for me,” Baltosser said. “I am excited to be on court and to have this unbelievable opportunity.”
Baltosser will be escorted by brother Rodney and sister Isabella at the pep assembly.
Loren Jolin
Jolin is 17 years old.
Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jeff and Kelly Jolin.
Jolin has an older sister Taylor Jolin. Taylor is 21 years old and has taught Jolin so much over the years.
“I am extremely grateful for my sister,” Jolin said.
Jolin is althletic. She has played varsity volleyball and softball for three years. She has also competed in junior varsity bowling for two years.
She enjoys being active. Jolin walks her dog, runs, and does yoga in her spare time.
Jolin plans to attend Michigan State University next fall with plans to enroll in their veterinary program.
Jolin was on homecoming court sophomore year and said it is humbling to be on it once again.
“I feel honored that my peers picked me as one of the members of senior court to represent our class,” Jolin said. “It is truly humbling.”
Jolin will be escorted by her boyfriend, senior Zachery Elizondo at the pep assembly.
Chloe Jankowski
Jankowski is 16 years old and lives with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Tim and Julie Jankowski.
She has two older brothers, Nick and Noah Jankowski.
Jankowski is involved in several school sports.
She has been a shortstop for the varsity softball team for four years.
She also plays volleyball. Jankowski has played volleyball for four years but has only spent three years on varsity as an outside hitter.
When Jankowski has spare time, she enjoys watching sports with her friends, singing really loudly, and watching TV with her friends.
Jankowski plans to attend Oakland University to purse a career in physical therapy.
She is appreciates being able to represent the Senior Class.
“I feel honored and thankful to be able to represent my school and class,” Jankowski said. “I am extremely grateful I got this experience my senior year.”
Jankowski will be escorted by senior Mitchell Conely at the pep assembly.
Brandi Morgan
Morgan is 17 years old and lives with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jeromey and Kathy Morgan.
Morgan has an older sister Haleigh, who is her biggest role model.
“I look up to my sister very much,” Morgan said.
Morgan has a love for sports.
She has played basketball for 11 years as a shooting guard, volleyball for three years, and golf for three years.
“I love everything about sports,” Morgan said. “I think sports will always be a big part of my life.”
Morgan’s family plays a major role in her life. She enjoys visiting her grandma and spending time with her little cousins in her spare time.
Morgan also likes hanging out with her friends and boyfriend, junior Jack Vollmar.
Morgan already has plans for the future.
She plans to attended UM-Flint to pursue a career in physical therapy.
Morgan was on court her junior year and said it is still an honor to represent her class this year, too.
“I am so thankful to be on court with a great group of girls,” Morgan said. “I would like to thank everyone for making this experience possible for me.”
She will be escorted by her sister Haleigh at the pep assembly.
Madilyn Valentine
Valentine is 17 years old and lives with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Kirk and Gina Valentine.
She is the oldest child in her family. Valentine has a little sister, Sami, and little brother, Gavin.
When Valentine attended Powers Catholic High School, she played volleyball for two years and cheered for the varsity cheer team for one year.
Valentine enjoys camping, drawing, singing, playing with her puppy, and hanging out with her boyfriend, senior Colton Gagne.
Valentine plans to attended Northern Michigan University, where she will purse a career as a veterinarian.
She is anxious about being on court but is honored to have this opportunity.
“I am nervous and grateful to get to experience this,” Valentine said. “I think it will be a very fun experience.”
She will be escorted by Gagne at the pep assembly.
