Nadia Koontz says goodbye
Journalism helped me revolutionize myself for the better. With every piece of writing, I have been able to discover who I am, and because of journalism I have become someone that seems familiar.
High school is a special kind of place that makes you think you are a certain type of person based off of the people you hang out with or what kind of grades you find on your report card. Soon you will find that none of these things matter. But for what it is worth, it is never too late to be whatever and whoever you want to be. High school does not define you. I have been told that these four years would be some of the best times of my life, but it does not have to stop here.
So here is my final statement: I hope you live a life you are proud of, and if you find that you are not, I hope you have the strength to rebuild yourself into someone you are proud to be.
xoxo, Nadia.
